The Management, Principal, staff and the students of New Science College, Ameerpet,
appreciate the gesture and received with thanks the following endowments instituted
on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of this college.
|
- 1. A gold medal is instituted by Mr. Y Nagabhushan an old student of this college,
at Narayanaguda in memory of his teacher and founder Principal of New Science College,
Ameerpet Late Mr. Hari Lakshmi Pathi. This gold medal will be awarded to a candidate
who scores the highest percentage of marks (College first) in the University Degree
Examination every year.
- 2. An endowment to the tune of Rs. 7,000 (Seven Thousand only) is created by Mr
M S Sastry, Retired Joint Director; Commissioner of Collegiate Education is instituted
in the memory of his father Late Sri M Subbayya Garu. A part of the interest is
to be utilized for giving a prize to the top scorer from College in the subject
of Chemistry in the degree annual examinations conducted by the Osmania University
and the remaining is to be utilized for organizing a memorial science lecturer by
an eminent Scientist/ Professor every year.
- 3. Smt. Ammani Menon Wife of Mr. T A K Menon has instituted an endowment of Rs.
7,000 (Seven Thousand only) in memory of her father Late Sri T A K Menon. Who was
also a distinguished teacher in his native state Kerala. The interest accrued on
this endowment shall be utilized to give a prize to the top scorer in the Annual
Intermediate Public Examinations every year.
